Our Story
New Start Academy was born from a simple but powerful idea: opportunity should not expire with age or circumstance. What began as a community-driven initiative to support adult learners has grown into a trusted nonprofit academy serving individuals seeking education, career readiness, and a fresh start.
Built under the guidance of Mandal Education Center, a nonprofit founded in 2016, New Start Academy was designed to meet the real needs of adult learners in the Greater Houston area. Drawing on Mandal’s experience in community-based education, NSA provides structured academic programs, practical skills training, and clear pathways to employment and advancement.
Today, New Start Academy stands as a place where motivation meets structure, and determination meets opportunity—helping learners move
forward with confidence, dignity, and purpose.
